In a nod to excess, Volkswagen has created something that is..well...ostentatious.
And what better place to debut such a radical and in-your-face vehicle than at the Qatar Motor Show? Considering the Middle East is the land known for cars with mirrored paint jobs and a good concentration of the Bugatti Veyron allocation, it only seems fitting that VW decided to unveil the Touareg Gold Edition.
This begs another question: since when has gold been considered in? I guess when its value skyrocketed.

Volkswagen showed another special Touareg concept at the Qatar Motor Show this week. The Volkswagen Touareg Gold Edition is one of the most expensive and exclusive SUV’s ever. Parts of both the interior as the exterior have been ‘upgraded’ with 24 karat gold.
