If this batch of photos look familiar to you, don't be surprised. Although Agent 001 just wrapped up an event for another automaker this past week in Las Vegas and the Valley of Fire, it turns out there was another one in town he had been invited to. This time it was for Volvo and its Drive-E model lineup that it has decided to usher in the 2015 model year with.
Although Volvo has never been a real volume player, its owners are incredibly loyal and it makes a damn fine product. And, if you've ever had a conversation with someone who's had an accident in their Volvo, you better believe they're a buyer for life.
I know two people that unfortunately put the Volvo they were riding in to the test and I'll tell you this, they swear by the automaker now.
But safety isn't the company's value add these days. If you were wondering what "Drive-E" means, it stands for "Drive Efficiently." If you're skeptical, check out the two images 001 snapped from Volvo's press conference about the new powertrains it's featuring in the 2015 MY products. Not only does it perform, it also earns a healthy mpg figure.
