As I was getting ready for the 2008 Bimmerfest event in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago, I was checking out the Bimmerfest page on Facebook and a certain girl caught my eye.

No, not some porn queen trying to sell her wares.

Get your minds out of the gutter boys and girls.

Somebody whose energy, passion and excitement for cars and life in general just jumped off the pages.

So I went to her Facebook page to learn more about her.

And when I got there, I knew my intuition was right.

This girl is SPECIAL and loved by virtually EVERYONE.

As I read about her, I realized she had it all.

Brains (USC Student at the top of the class), Passion for cars (She OWNS her own BMW at 21 AND She fixes and Mod's it HERSELF!!!), Energy (I wondered when she slept), Youth (She's 21 but is a savvy as any 40 year old I know), Class, Beauty (And yes, she's single right now although she told me she has 4 ex's, YIKES!) and people everywhere just LOVE her and want to hang in her circle.

I thought her and I were very much alike except for the beauty, youth, energy, brains and loved by everyone ;)

Well, we both have a great passion for cars!

So at that moment, I said i HAVE to hire her to work with us at AutoSpies.com.

And 001 ALWAYS gets what he wants.

Maybe she felt sorry for us or the sun the moon and the stars were in perfect alignment and we were just blessed.

But after talking with her and lunching at L.A.'s hottest eateries, Mozza, she said she was ready to become a '00'.

Wait, MAYBE it was the PIZZA!

It IS that good.

She will attest to that.

Well, whatever the reason, we are thankful 00K is on our team!

I didn't know I was loved here. From the moment I started almost a month ago, I have been accused of being yet another BMW fan boy.

Of course the fact we all choose to drive the best car out there is lost on everyone, let the name BMW come up and immediately we are accused of being on the payroll, or a fan boy.

does this mean that this website will start publishing its own newsworthy articles that are actually about cars for once? perhaps you may want to start by separating the 3rd party/referenced/link articles from your own allowing for people to distinguish this site's opinion and input rather than hide it.

the first thing that came to mind when i clicked on this link was, wow, will this site be the first semi-smut/pseudo automobile online source like second rate auto mags with nekkid pics. if so, may want to also consider an underage & lewd content warning.

lets be frank here, what other online automotive source, especially from a journalist source, including those very "nameless/faceless" sources linked here which the foundation of this very site was built on yet apparently unappreciated or unrespected, uses pictures of chicks or sexually suggestive pictures or comments to lure in readers? nothing to do with you personally, as this tactic had been in the works long before you with features such as "spy girl of the month." what respectful publication such as motortrend, r&d, car & driver or automobile uses this tactic?

what is this place or has it become: autospies or the lifestyles of those that wish to be hip in the hollywood spotlight?

again, this is all constructive criticism. take it for what it is. i will say that when i first joined here, i enjoyed it then and enjoy it now for what it is: a convenient collection of other sources of upcoming news of cars, void of personality or input.

after incorporation and attempts at turning this site into some sort of legit business, the owner started attempting putting some personality in it and slowly fizzling in its own reviews. sorry, thats when things started to suck here. that personality of cockiness and oozing with cheesiness is unbecoming. it loudly speaks, "hey, look at me" and wow is that person a dork.

seriously, what innovation did this site bring?

it shows that the comments come from some old guy out of the fashion wishing to be hip with the new school. oh it shows. one feature i do like is the new "agentspace" feature which is cool since it makes every enthusiast into a "professional reviewer." thats nice. i've always enjoyed comments by those like s4.

no comment as to the other agents as well; they don't deal out the constant cheesy puffery.

oh & yes; i do find the pictures of agent001 to be lewd. like ew. heh. easy to dish out witty sarcasm, yet hard to take, eh?
