Just wait until they see the actual MSRP and battery rental.

the real volt is going to be when this piece of junk short circuits and frys the poor sap driving the thing.

That just a silly comment kraut. If you persist with dribble like that, I'm going to start posting links to websites saying the battery on a prius is going to kill firemen when they use the jaws of life.

i just feel like they are pricing it too high.

Chevy should be more instrumental in making this available to the masses and frankly 35 gs is too much.

Honda will make a plug in Civic soon enough and move units and be successful, while the volt will be relegated to appearances in commercials during football season.

and lets be real, that 20,000 number is horse sh** anyway.

They're not pricing it high to make a buck, they're having to price it like that because the components are expensive. No one uses the batteries they want to use and most of the technology is new or very recent. Everything new is expensive to begin with. This is an entirely new way of powering a car. I applaud them for getting it actually to us instead of just to the display stand.

That's really not the point of the Volt. Why not buy a porsche instead of an LS 600h? it's similar argument.

This just shows that there is great interest and demand for alternative fueled vehicles. Let's get them out there.
