Want Cheap Gas? Just Cross Over The Border!
If there's pain at the pump in the U.S., Mexico may just have a remedy. A gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in San Diego retails for an average price of $4.61 a gallon. A few miles south, in Tijuana, it's about $2.54 - even less if you pay in pesos.

More and more people appear to be taking advantage of the lower price.

"I used to buy exclusively in the U.S. before gas started really going up," said Patrick Garcia, a drama teacher at an elementary school in San Diego who lives in Tijuana. "Since then, I've been buying all my gas in Tijuana."

The lower prices mean a U.S. motorist could save almost $54 filling up a two-year-old Ford F150 pickup with a 26-gallon fuel tank in Mexico.

Thanks to the elites of the West and the Bush administration, America is turning into a third world country.

And I just have to laugh whenever I see those guys saying "GO STARS AND STRIPES" when their country is as democratic as Nazi Germany. Look at the economy, too, no one needs the US dollar and many companies within the US are starting to bankrupt. This country will eventually bankrupt, too, all thanks to the United States government, your Iraq war really helped.

And I am pretty sure those uneducated rednecks will deboost this comment. Go ahead, like that is gonna change the reality?

Enjoy your Mercedes. They sell them at a %50 discount here in USD haha. Sucker.

Germany (manufacturing) and England (finance) are the only two countries in the EU that acutally have something to offer the world. The rest of the countries are just inefficient, bueracratic - social welfare societies, holding out to jump on someones back when this shit hits the fan for global dominance.

The strong Euro is doing more damage then good for the EU, instead of bitching about the low dollar all the time, how about the ECB lower some interest rate. Wait, they can't because theres only five countries in the EU that can actually handle it, the rest will collapse under financial pressure. Europe is stuck, Germany and England should just avoid Europe all together.

Iraq War = mistake, no doubt about that. But in a strategic long term view, whos got the oil? China, no, India? no, The good old US and A.

"As democratic as Nazi Germany"? You are either completely ignorant of history or an absolute liar. In either case, you lack any credibility whatsoever. Granted, our politicians are constantly striving to confiscate ever larger percentages of our paychecks and finding new ways to spend our money to pander for votes (you're fooling yourself if you think it's for any other reason). But for the time being, we're a long way from Nazi Germany.

Actually, I understand your anger and agree with most of what you said.

Oh wow, look at those rednecks from the wild West who obviously never were educated and know nothing about politics and economy.

Did I even claim to be from Germany in the first place? If any one of you can even speak English as a first language, you would already by now know that I live in the U.S. by just simply reading that comment I typed. But obviously you little uneducated rednecks can't read because that's what you are.

And I really don't know what Mercedes has to do with this? Seriously, it's so funny, this is why 98% of the people in this country are retarded, and can easily be manipulated by the government and the elites of the West.

I envy your ignorance, because you obviously think that little monkey is saving your ass by waging an illegal war in the Middle-East, and think that the world is becoming a safer place. I wish I could think like kids like you all do. Maybe I should start reading some more comic books like you guys do, huh? Am I correct, my uneducated redneck friends? :)

Maybe you retards would still be supporting and licking governments' a$$es even if the gas price goes up to like 8 dollar per gallon.

And I am pretty sure many of you uneducated rednecks will end up supporting the Iran war, too. Haha, I would like to see that one, probably that war will finally put an end to the United States as a sovereign country because hey, even now, we don't have money to keep this Iraq war going anyway, how the hell are we even supposed to start a new war? Oh true, all we have to do is to borrow more money from China like we do now.

But I am pretty sure the things those uneducated rednecks know are the stuff they watch on TV(like military movies LOL) or military videogames ROFL

It's funny, because this country is run by a puppet of the European elites and most of the citizens are the sheep. And retarded. Because it's easy to control the ignorant people! No wonder this country's education system is so dead.

By the way, do you know what the Bilderberg group is? You should google that one too, if you are unsure.

And if there is a person who seriously thinks that the Bilderberg group meeting is about making this world a safer place and so on, I seriously think the person should go to hospital, because he/she needs help. Oh, and just to let you know, no press was allowed for their meeting. Prob they don't want the terrorists to listen to their democratic plans? ROFL!!!

Fire Bush! They just fired the CEO of my company because our profits were down for just the last 2 quarters. Prior to that we were doing very well and are still at a huge surplus. In the words of Chris Rock, if I worked on the registar at Gap, and the registar had $100 in it when my manager left it there with me. Then they came back and my registar was 10 trillion dollars under, dont you think I would get fired. If Bush ran a company as he did our country, he would have been nixed long long ago!

The Mexican exodus is a good thing. They're contributing to the low economy. They're taking in money, but not giving it back through taxes. They're a hole of which money drains instead of being recycled. And if the economy continues to drop, American's need those "backbreaking" jobs Mexicans are doing now.

part 1 is so pointless. The guy who made the movie obviously doesn't know a thing about Christianity.

But the other parts? All true. It's funny, because now many people are starting to ask questions about 911 but all they do is to avoid. What are they hiding? I mean, what are those COWARDS hiding?

Jesus is the bravest Man/God ever, but the governments? Especially the United States government? They are selfish and promote hate.

When will the U.S. government ever testify on the 911 issue? Pffft, that won't happen.

Because the White House does not work for us, they work for the elites.

Mercedes-Benz,
You really are clueless. Are you from Europe?
There's a big reason why US companies are going bankrupt.

1. They have to compete against "sovereign wealth funds" and "state champions" who's goal isn't to make money, but to bankrupt Western enterprise and purchase state assets (i.e 3Commie and resource companies). You think Lenovo is making any money? IBM already manufactured in China, but Lenovo's goal is to undercut Dell, HP, Toshiba etc.
Allah Airways is supposed to represent middle eastern excess, nothing more.
Jaguar/Land Rover won't make anymore money in India, but it won't matter if they lose money.

2. Outsourcing has increased demand from 3rd world countries, thereby making even manufacturing and importing more expensive due to higher transportation and resource costs. Wal-mart et al can't completely pass price increases to the consumer, so they have to swallow added cost. It's actually good that oil prices are coming back and biting them in the ass. Maybe it'll force them to move jobs back when oil is $225 a barrel.

3. Europe still relies on N.America to buy their crap cars. Have you noticed that the hyped up Chinese and Indian economies have had absolutely NO effect on staving off a global slowdown? What happened to this unlimited demand that Europe was depending on?

Mexico's gas prices are how it should be, producing countries should have lower prices (although that doesn't do anything to cut consumption). Maybe after a few more companies (G.E., an oil company or another bank) go belly-up and are threatend with foreign acquisition then perhaps the U.S. and Canada will put domestic priorities ahead of CEO bonuses. Just maybe :s

I bet Europe is seeing less American tourism, there'll be some lagtime for them.

We fill up in Mexico when we are there but we do not make a special trip just to get gas. My 2 cents on Oil and Gas prices: As I was driving to and in Austin, TX a few weeks ago I noticed something. Depending on the road conditions my gas milage varied. Also there are way too many stoplights and stop signs in the cities and metro areas of the USA which greatly affects gas mileage. How much oil, gas and money could we save with the correct road surfaces and better city planning for placement and coordination of stoplights and stop signs? Again just my 2 cents. And yes Adolf(MercedesBenz007) if the USA hurts all countries hurt. High oil and gas prices may drive manufacturing back to the USA because if it continues it will be more expensive to ship by ocean container.

Also, the picture above is not a good representation of Mexico Gas Stations. Majority are PEMEX, Mexico's national gas and oil company. Usually on 2 grades, bad and not as bad. You will also need to tip the attendant because most are not self serve. Locally tolls acroos and back total $5 plus the long travel time to get there or the long wait time to cross the border which all burns gas. Also you cannot fill a tanker and drive it across the border. You can fill up your farm truck that may have a 100 gallon tank but that is about it.

"...wait'll we win the war in Iraq and have all those "USA, we're number #1" victory parades like we did after Gulf War 1"

Sorry to rain on your parade but invading Iraq will be the major cause of the pending recession, but it was the worst strategic move ever made by any president.

Iraq was never a threat sorry to say, real threat is IRAN. Don't forget Iran is already fighting us "proxy". They're the #1 funder/trainer/supporter of terrorism in the world - and they take pride in that fact (their bombs are marked "Iran made"). With Hussein(Sunni) we had a "guard dog" in place to serve as unintended first line of defense in case Iran did anything funny. With that buffer gone, the new Iraqi gov't (Shiite) and Iran(Shiite) are fast becoming beside pals. When Ahmadinejad when to Iraq for a historic two day trip he said "visiting Iraq without the dictator is a good thing....We have had good talks in a friendly and constructive environment". Iran used to "fear" Hussein, now they have free rein to carry out they're ultimate future goal of taking over Iraq. Iran's "Mecca" is in ancient Babylon(Iraq), they will stop at nothing to attain this goal- get ready for those nukes :(

Well said, auto001.

I don't want to disparage agentorange and ennNorack's views -- I very proud that they are showing their patriotism and support for the troops. The troops deserve our respect and support.

What I can't understand is when people can't separate what the troops are doing which is follow orders, and an incompetent, greedy and careless Bush administration that has completely hung EVERYONE OF US out to dry and have shown that they can barely lead "JACK SH*T"!

BUT THIS IS ALL BESIDES THE POINT OF AGENT009'S POST.

It's too bad that there is too much legal red tape to go through for someone to be properly licensed to transport that cheap gas across the border for anyone that wants it. Sadly, many normally law-abiding citizens have recently tried to bring 55 gallon tanks of gas back and forth across our southern boarders with the intent of trying to make an honest buck but instead risk jail time and their lives.

Perhaps funding Saddam again instead of killing him would've been a better option, but then the Liberals would be crying foul on that too.

Iraq is about oil and influence. How high do you think oil would be if Iraq's 2+million barrels of production disappeared (most of which I'm sure flows straight to the oil loving, American hating Europeans).

If Obama's half-baked college vote remembers there's an election, we'll find out.

Its funny how enamoured with Obama Europe is, its as though they've fallen for a sound-bite politician.

Rest assured, another major war will break out when one of the wannabe powers gains control of a significant oil supply.

We're paying $1.299 a litre around Toronto, which is $8/gallon to the yanks. So $4.10 doesn't look so bad right now.

I'ld like to make a point by saying that we as in America knew the risks and grave losses that we all will suffer and share before going into this conflict(s). Most of us stood strong and supported after the 9/11. So we went in and completed the mission by giving them the freedom (Iraq). Havins said that, "America doesn't exist without the freedom and for many freedom does not exist without America! We went into Iraq for freedom of Americans, Iraq and the world. God bless America, especially Ford and GM <--both sucks hog's nipples. Anyhow, we all are going through some rough times with gas prices and recession but hey...You still have a freedom, dudes! homer, i like most of your other posts, but here you show you've BOUGHT INTO the b.s. about why we went into iraq.
a little history:
1) saddam was OUR pet, until geo. the first had a falling out with him, and SET HIM UP for gulf war I. he was trained by our cia thruout his rise to power.
2) we knew he had chem and bio weapons, because WE SOLD THEM to him. remember the photo of smiley Rummy shaking hands with good ole' boy saddam?
3) after saudi arabia and russia, iraq has the LARGEST proven oil reserves. we DID NOT invade to 'liberate' the iraqi people from saddam and give them "democracy" (at gunpoint), we invaded so our own Big Oily companies could gain control of that oil.
4) saddam was threatening to re-price his oil in euros instead of dollars. (in hindsight, would that not have been a BRILLIANT MOVE for his country?) this was the FINAL STRAW, and the gears started turning to take him out.

As a Christian person myself, I believe in freedom. I believe that we all have the same human rights, and Capitalism must not be turned into some kind of Super-Capitalism that eventually leads the nations to dictatorship.

That is all I want and that is NOT HAPPENING IN THIS DAMN WORLD. I want a stable economy, NOT WAR. Freedom of speech must be allowed for all Americans, not only for those fascist lovers or Bush lovers. I want to live in peace with my family, NOT ALL FRIGGING SECURITY EVERYWHERE AND COPS KNOCKING MY DOOR AND ASKING FOR MY ID CARD, BECAUSE I LIVE IN AMERICA, NOT NAZI GERMANY.

And if you damn sheep can't see this country turning into a new Nazi state? Then I will give you 10 more years, you will eventually see it with your very own eyes soon.

You are a naive fool. Capitalism doesn't lead to dictatorship. Socialism does. Look no further than Hugo Chavez as an example. You don't present yourself as the most informed fellow, so I'll give you some background. He's the current socialist dictator of Venezuela. The United States is far from a Nazi state. As another commenter pointed out earlier, once you compare the United States to Nazi Germany you have proven yourself to be "either completely ignorant of history or an absolute liar. In either case, you lack any credibility whatsoever." Go on about your life and do what makes you happy so long as it doesn't adversely affect others, but please don't vote or procreate. The last thing we need is fools such as yourself perpetuating your ignorance.

One trend that is scarring me is the big corperations are taking over everywhere! Home Depo,McDonalds,Wallmart... The world is going to be a boring place if this trend continues, no more mom and pop resterants/stores because they will not have the buying power to compete with the chains, so everywhere you go will all be the same.

when robber baron capitalists (and lower grades too) are in bed with or have bought control of the gov't, that is when you have FASCISM.

when the gov't gains TOTAL control (vs mere regulatory oversight) over corporate assets, that is SOCIALISM/communism.

which is the GREATER threat? ponder on that for awhile.

clue 1: socialists at least REDISTRIBUTE wealth/goods BACK TO THE PEOPLE. (health care, free education, etc.)
clue 2: fascists tend to CONCENTRATE WEALTH in their own private hoards/banks.
clue 3: how much health care are you getting? how much "health care $$$$" are piling up in supposed health "providers'" and drug dealers' (companies') coffers?
clue 4: how many good jobs are available to you, your un- and under-employed friends, and your welfare client neighbors? how much pay is being socked away by american CEOs, whether the companies make money or not?
clue 5: have you been brainwashed to thinking socialism is ALWAYS BAD? are you being LULLED into believing fascism is actually GOOD?
clue 6: people invariably get the govts/rulers THEY DESERVE.
clue 7: the supposed free press we have, is free ONLY to people who OWN the media. corporate interests have a vested interest in hoodwinking the gullible public.

bottom line: EDUCATE yourselves. OPEN YOUR EYES to what's happening in this country.

ffool:

there have been BOTH capitalist AND socialist dictatorships. hitler's was capitalist. highly capitalistic and successful singapore had a virtual dictatorship for many years.

and socialist govts are not universally bad, not all dictatorships. many socialists have been freely ELECTED. just look to europe.
chavez was ELECTED. so was allende, in argentina.

ChicaneShooter, you're wrong. Hitler was not a capitalist. He was a socialist. Do your research. And for your own sanity, stop looking at crackpot conspiratorial websites for your information. "9/11 was an inside job"? You're an idiot.

Those who say Democracy and Capitalism can never lead to dictatorship...

Japan had Democracy before they become a dictator in the 20-30's. Hmm, what does that tell you?

But obviously those sheep don't wanna listen because they just WANT TO believe that their country is still the hope of the world, which is totally nonsense.

I mean, ask some non-American and see if you can get some positive response on the U.S. foreign policy issue. If you did, he must know nothing about the world, totally.

Anyway, I pity you, you miserable morons. Do you think Bush cares about you? HAHAHA you DO believe that Bush and the U.S. government are doing their best to PROTECT YOU, don't you? Oh you do, you must picture Bush thinking about you all night, and thinking about how to protect the American people...and the idea he came up with was to let MORE ILLEGAL ALIENS COME INTO OUR COUNTRY SOOO EASILY, and DESTROY OUR ECONOMY!

Hey sheep, some great leader we have here, huh?

We haven't had an attack since 9/11 but MANY have been avoided. Security must be balanced with freedom but whose fault will it be next time we lose 3000 people falling onto the concrete like melons? No one likes the problems but no one want to do the dirty work to fix them and they don't just go away by being nice nice. Many of our freedoms and privacy have already been given up long ago and it has nothing to do with the Bush admin.

there hasn't been ANOTHER successful, massively destructive attack like 9/11 because our Shadow Gov't planners ONLY NEEDED ONE.

it may SOUND incredible to some, but this WAS an inside job. check the links provided above.

read the book, "The New Pearl Harbor." go to Amazon for quick excerpts. the ORIGINAL pearl harbor, btw, was also ALLOWED TO OCCUR, so FDR could provide congress with a reason to declare war.

(which he was NOT able to do with the 'secret war' of the n. atlantic, intentionally trying to PROVOKE acts by german u-boats over which war could be declared.)

it seems whenever our gov't insiders WANT a war, they need to PAY the price of 2400-3000 american lives, more or less. (pearl harbor cost 2404 lives. "A cheap price to pay" in the exact words of an intelligence agent.)

(but of course, they do not PERSONALLY pay the price. there are thousands of american sheeple from which to draw human sacrifices.)

"Those who would sacrifice freedom for security, deserve neither." Benjamin Franklin

freedom we americans assume are among our basic rights, include freedom from warrantless spying on us by our own gov't and police agencies.

It's funny, because many Americans actually think that security and freedom can actually be balanced out. Hahaha, this is why this country is a land of the sheep.

Why did Bush destroy the U.S. economy? So that America can fall asap, and the elites can push their New World Order agenda.

But would those sheep in America listen? No, because they are exactly like the Germans in the 30's. It is really really funny whenever I see those punks saying "IF YOU ARE AGAINST BUSH, YOU ARE A TERRORIST!!" Oh yah? That's funny, because I remember someone saying something like this,"IF YOU ARE AGAINST HITLER, YOU ARE A COMMIE!"

By the way, sheep, give me some evidence that Osama was actually behind the 911 attacks. GIVE ME ONE? Why did the WTCs collapse so quickly when the Chinese building that caught fire lasted more than 14 hours? Maybe the American buildings are as unreliable as their cars? LMAO!!! Why did the WTC7 collapse when nothing hit the building at all? Hmmm?

I am basically an American with British ancestry, and I am sick and tired of those dumb racists who say "YOU MUST BE LIKE, FROM IRAN OR MIDDLE-EAST, YOU CAN'T BE WHITE AND HATE BUSH!"

Hahahaha, let Bush control those hopeless sheep. Because they don't know that "history repeats itself" :)
