I have driven one ,and i would never buy or rent one it's even worse than a chevy spark/daewoo matiz.

I know there is some serious safety engnineering in there, but the thought of driving a Smart next to an eighteen-wheeler on the highway is scary as hell.

I saw a Smart 3 days ago in Irvine,Ca on Culver Dr and Farwell after I dropped off 30 letters to my clients @ the new Post Office.

It was killer looking in person on the street.

Nothing else like it!

Currently in Oregon the Black Market Smart is selling for 10k over sticker. Just wait untill 2008 when the longer more powerfull Smart is released from MB. There are enough people with enough legit interest for a 15K fuel efficient vehicle in most demographics to the point where this car will sell and make a profit.

I saw them for the first time in Berlin last summer, I was verrry surprised at how cool they look in person. I think you have to have European tastes to appreciate the car.
