It was only so long ago that Audi decided to take to social media to determine if it should bring the Audi TT RS to the American market.
Audi says that the response was so great that they could make a business case for the U.S. market TT RS; however, doesn't anyone wonder if that was just a way for Audi to claim they did it for its fan base when in reality it was bringing the vehicle all along? Maybe I am just the devil's advocate.
Anyway, Audi has proclaimed that a B8 RS4 is not in the works. This has led to one RS lover to create an online petition where users can sign and band together. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
Regardless of the outcome, if you're hoping Audi will change their mind, you should probably check out the link down below and add your John Hancock.
Every now and then, automobile manufacturers make decisions to build (or more specifically NOT build) certain models, which upsets their loyal fans. The reasons behind such decisions vary, and they usually dont' make a lot of sense to the general public.
One of our readers came to us recently, lamenting the fact that Audi have announced no plans for an RS4 based on the current B8 platform. Sure, the RS5 is a fantastic car, we love it, but what about people who have kids (or just prefer 4 door sedans) and still want the phenominal performance that the RS cars are known for? We'd love to see an RS4 here in the USA, and we're sure there are many other like minded Audi fans out there who would too.
Our reader is so adamant that he wants the RS4 that he took the trouble to create an on-line petition, with the hopes that enough people will sign it, and convince Audi that an RS4 would make good business sense. We're not sure what will come of it, but we know we'd love to see an RS4!
