What is your "Car of the Year"?
Now we've seen all the magazines and the spies "Cars of the year" but which car would you choose as your personal car of the year?
And let us keep to cars presently on sale and not the 2009 something! If you had to go out and buy a car today, which would it be?

While I haven't yet driven it, and speaking in only "realistically" priced cars, I'd probably say the RS4. M3 performance, AWD for the northeast winters, subtle styling...pretty good package.

Although, I'm overly surprised at how much fun I'm having with the FX, maybe even a sportier CUV might make my list.

Agreed, RS4.

Daily drivability, quattro, sedan utility, and of course stellar performance. If the new M3 went into production this year, that might have changed my mind, but it didn't, so I would say RS4.

BMW 335 coupe (M3 next year). It is an awesome car overall with superb handling. Or BMW M5 ;) Sporty, spacious, aggressive, comfortable, awesome looking (subjective) and fast!

The RS4 is tempting...very, and Chip and NA basically said it for me, but I would have to say that I always like that extra bit of space. So I would have to go for the S4 Avant.

In that Deep Sea Blue or Dolphin Gray.

The 2007 X5 is very nice indeed. I don't know about the 3 series. It drives really well, has 300hp, but the design has a lot to be desired.

My car of the year would be none other than the 2007 Lexus LS 460/LS 460 L. Before you all call me biased, let me explain my reasoning. The LS is an all-new design and is the first time Lexus has been recognized internationally for the self parking system. I would have picked the Mercedes S-Class for the self driving thing, but that isn't a new car for this year.

All of you expect to be Lexus LS or new X5 and so on. Well for me the car of the year is Dacia Logan by Renault. Why? Because this car is made for People from Europe, Asia and South America, who cannot pay for more expensive car. It's enough big for 5 adults and have big space for luggage, although it's a compact sedan. Just for a year this car was sold near 1 000 000 times. Well this pretty, small, young lady deserves to be the car of the year!

listen renlex495, I love Lexus 2, but u think it will take BMW and Benz 5 years to catch up with Lexus!?!?, don't u mean the opposite!! no offense, but what r u smoking my friend, BMW's 740 top notch I beleive is around 450hp, which beats the LS460L cause its 380, its even slightly better then LS600hl; but there's no way it can beat the S550, esp. the S600, its bi-turbo with over 600 horsepower!
