Which Of These Six Is The Sexiest Convertible?
Can you think of anything sexier that a hot little number with her top dropped just basking in the sunlight?  Of course you know that hot little number that I am referring to is of course a brand new convertible?  If you thought of anything else, you need to drag yourself out of the gutter because this is a car site you know.

With the official news of both the Lexus IS and the Infiniti G37 convertibles coming to the market, sun worshippers are now given a wide variety of choices when it comes to sporty luxury drop tops.

While it can be argued that each of these choices are targeted to a select buyer, by the simple fact they all cover a similar demographic they all compete for your dollar.  We will lump them all into a  big pool for this reason.

Now take out the intangibles like handling, reliability, and resale, for now they just don’t matter.  The point of a convertible is to see and be seen, and the correct choice will always make you look your best to the paparazzi.

So break out the SPF50 sun block, put on the shades, and tell us which is your choice to stand out in the crowd?

The Audi's are basically factory tuner cars as is the M3. But if you want to include those cars then you have to include the CLK63 and they both still lose. KZ258 if you add upgrades to any car you will increase performance. The IS and G aren't even in production yet and the 3 series has odd proportions with the top up. Lets face it the VOlvo is an also ran.

I think it's nice to see the SC430 reincarnated as the Nissan G37. Nice reproduction gentlemen!! I am goint say "Rent It!" on that one. I am not as stoked on the Solara with a Lexus badge however, I give it a C- or a "Skip It!".

I LOVE the new G convertable. But I also think the Mercedes CLK is HOT too. Those would be my 1st and 2nd choices... I really want to like the Lexus IS, but in this pic it really looks like a Solara, Im shocked because Lexus'is usually a 10 in style (lately)! The Volvo looks tired to me, like its being for a redesign or a facelift...lol

The IS body just doesnt work as a convertible. Looks great as a coupe though.

The G37 looks promising, looking forward to the official release photos.

Bimmer looks awesome.

The Volvo/Audi/Benz coupe dont do it for me - they look better in their other forms.

Before I choose I'd like to see them all with the top raised. Correct me if I am wrong but so far the IS and G have not been shown officially with it up, and that makes a big difference (while most convertibles look good with the top down, a lot of them look pretty crappy with it up).

Based solely on the top being down I'd go with the 335i or M3, Alpine White on red leather.

An Alpine White M3 Convertible with Fox Red interior is sitting right next to my desk and it stops people in their tracks. They say "Oh Wow! Now that is incredible!" or something similar, then they drool all over it. The lot techs come over and wipe it up and then it starts all over again. It is certainly magnetic. Awesomne choice JRobUSC. IMO the boostings of buffoons are meaningless.

My Opinion (Based on looks):

CLK - sexiest
A4 - Most agressive looking
3er/G37 - Most fun to drive
Volvo - very bland
IS - ugly and a little awkward (because its probably a photoshop. It looks like a door wedge)

I mean, havent you ever said that food looks tasty? how does food look tasty if you havent taste it? its just the characteristics that makes it seem tasty from the looks...

yes, it looks like the most fun car to drive. it doesnt look bland, and it looks like they are already in motion, while standing still. does that clear things up? The curves looks inviting to drive.

Unfortunately, the design compromises required to transform BMW's 3er into a retractable hardtop result in one of the most awkward and ill-proportioned open tops since the abysmal looking Lexus SC430...

Dynamically well-wrought, but aesthetically (seriously) lacking.
