Will Online Car Sales Be Successful for GM And Become A Model For Others?

I was going to say something about salesmen being unemployed from the GM stores out there, but I guess (in a way) they are government employees now anyway. Wonder where on the GS payscale they would end up? At least the same as a congressman, surely.

Online car sales has been around for a long time. If a customer knows what they want just order it online but to say GM would be the model for this ,,,,,,No.

Its a great ideal. The consumer dose not have to pay the middle man when he buys a car, there is no high pressure sale tactics, and you dont have to leave your seat right now if you are reading this to buy your next car/truck.

These are the Facts:

A. GM does not want you to test drive the car, and suffer from dangerous, and criminal oversteer.

B. GM Does not want you to test drive the car, and smell that Noxious and overpowering GM new Car Smell.

C. GM does not want anyone to do a through test drive inspection by their trusted mechanic. Ooooooo, he or she might actually find faults with the car.

D. The most important reason why GM does not want people to test their cars before buying is: They dont want people to find out that GM is the new 1980s Chrysler, and Chrysler is the new AMC Motors.

Little known fact- Even though GM has made it high in the initial quality rankings, the long term reliablity rankings after 3 years of vehicle use does not look good for GM at all. Buick plced the best out of all GM brands and it still was ranked in 18th place out of 34 Automakers. Lets see some long term reliablity here, I'm tired of talk and no fruit.

HyundaiSmoke...when I started paying attention to this site you struck me as somebody who was well-read and level-headed in thought. Your support of Hyundai alone said that you were willing to look beyond stigmas and unfair claims and see what may exist. With rather disturbing haste, your posts recently have become quite off centre and quite frankly, have become very annoying. Did you actually read that shit you just posted? Or did you write it while under the influence of some drug? GM doesn't want us to test drive their cars? What garbage. As for the link you just posted, you seem to not understand it, though you appear to be able to read. The list does not say by what margin the best built car outdoes the worst built car. Look at Pontiac. Their best-built car is the Vibe. Let's look at Toyota. Their best built model is the Matrix. These cars are twins. Yet, Pontiac is all the way at the bottom of the list. This shows clearly that it is in no way an indication of how good the best built car is. The Cadillac DTS is tops at Cadillac. This is possible because it has been built for years, so the factory is tuned to doing the job right every time. The other models built by Cadillac could very well be right on its heels but other models are holding back the average. Also, the current CTS is only a year old so it does not fall into this study. You are starting to sound like some of the other assholes on here who bend and twist things to suit their own interests. Check yourself.

By the way, Iam looking forward to the day where I see some kid in a New GM Product on a rural Interstate and we glance at each other. Iam listening to some of my Special Expedition music, the stuff I play for the long haul, by the way. He likes my Next Gen Accent, and I kind of think his Cruze or his Viva(Aveo) is nice, and then I put it in lower gear and zoom off, and he follows me, and tries to out gun me, and I just boost it even harder and faster. dealerships are wasteful. they should offer maintenance, test drives, and as few salesman as online purchasing requires (some people will still want to deal with a human). this could shave a few thousand off the price of a car.
