With word hitting the 'net that Vauxhall is bringing back the Calibra remains exciting for Europe, what could this possibly mean for General Motors in the United States? Well, if we have learned anything from the Buick Lacrosse and Buick Regal it is that GM has no problem bringing over compelling products from Europe.

This, in turn, has led to new vehicles receiving well-deserved, positive criticism and sales surges. We applaud you, Buick.

With that said, Nick Reilly of GM Europe has announced the return of the Calibra, which is said to be "exactly this type of car," when compared to the 2007 Geneva Motor Show GTC Concept. To say that the GTC Concept bears a likeness to the Opel Insignia is putting it lightly.

Could this mean that there is a possibility of a Vauxhall Calibra making its way to the US in form of a Buick?
