Bad news are business as usual for Toyota these days.

Williams Grand Prix decided to drop Toyota as their engine supplier at the end of the year, before contract expiration. Williams is said to be disapointed with the Toyota engine performance.

Toyota is not going to fight this decision and will try to get a deal with one of the 3 new teams joining F1 next year.

Toyota scored back to back 2nd places in singapore and Japan. Just shows their car is very competitive. But many experts pointed out during the Monza event and other power circuits that Toyota's engine is definitely weak and probably the weakest as their both drivers qualified near the bottom.

Toyota should work on Engine and it's rumoured to be some 50BHP short than best engine. Last year Renault and Honda were given permission to modify their engine. Toyota should do the same and also get a top driver. They will surely be much better.

Toyota doesn't seem to have a problem beating Williams-Toyota. Maybe Williams needs better drivers.

Aren't all F1 engines limited to basically the same max spec?

It's not only having the best drivers but in the end of the day when your mechanics and driver can't fuse as one to battle in the F1 circuit what are you suppose to do?. Your team will eventually crumble in the standings and possibly financially. Williams will move on and find another supplier for motors. They can always use Mercedes or Renault.
