Women Motorists Harder to Please?
The gender divide is alive and well, if a survey of British motorists is to be believed – with women revealed as harder to please than men. Sexual stereotypes, once thought obsolete with the advent of gender-bending breeds such as “metrosexual man” and “the ladette”, have been reinvigorated by research into differing customer satisfaction levels between the sexes. Analysis of data from 15,000 motorists, conducted by J.D. Power and Associates exclusively for women’s motoring website www.evecars.com, revealed that women were consistently less satisfied with both their cars and the entire car ownership experience than their easier-to-please male counterparts.

Drivers completed an eight-page evaluation, answering more than 70 questions on likes and dislikes concerning their car, problems experienced, quality of dealer service and running costs. Satisfaction with the motoring experience among women was at 78.3% of the maximum level possible, compared to 79.6% for men. Women were statistically less satisfied in all of the areas tested; they also reported 212 problems per 100 vehicles compared to men’s 191.

[Clinical Psychologist Professor Lorraine Sherr, an expert in gender psychology, said the feminine flair for shopping could also explain the discrepancy. “Women are more discerning buyers than men, who tend to be easily pleased,” she said.]

Wow could she be more wrong? And she's a professor? Its a matter of what subject people are 'discerning'. I guess education doesn't solve ignorance.

Men are not easy to please it just that women are too hard to please in everything.

i dont think that % or # of problems would fall into a difference outside statestical error. women just bitch more about things and when they buy cars they are looking at all the wrong things. things they dont notice till 2 weeks later when they come back and are all pissed like "you didnt show me this!!!" and i say "sure i did but yo uwere too busy commenting on the interior color scheme and tailight you stupid broad!" and they say something like "let me talk to your manager" and I say "why? hes a man too." and they leave really pissed at that point. the thing is that lets say we were divided down the middle and women bought 50% of cars as well as men purchasing the other 50%. women however would be the deciesion maker of at least 75% of all of the vehicles purchased wether it was for them or not.

when i sell a car to a man and a women, i forget about the man and sell to the woman because "what baby likes, baby gets, or daddy isnt getting any"

sorry and that last part means that a man might buy a car that he isnt too terribly happy about simply because the woman was in love with it. so of course the man is going to have less satisfaction with a car he didnt get to pick out.
