Women love the Volkswagen Eos

The Eos has won an extraordinary readers’ vote: for the first time, women could vote for their favourite car at the web site evecars.com, a British internet page conceived for women. The eight-member jury comprising editors and experts in technology and automotive sports saw the Eos as the clear winner in the final elimination involving 27 models.

Alexandra Jenner-Fust, editor of evecars.com explains, “The girls (and guy) on our judging panel were looking for a car that excelled in its own category, but our winner had to have wider appeal. With the Eos, Volkswagen has created a car that you can buy both because you love it, and because it makes perfect sense. Read Article

Wow, real shocker. The EOS is the replacement for the ultimate "chick" car, another VW, the old Cabrio. Funny thing is, on the way to work the other day I saw a red one and was hoping to see some hottie in it as I passed, but it was a guy. I then noticed the rainbow triangle on the back and realized....he must be the female in the relationship.

it looks better in real-life ... a bit.
nice interior, and i'm sure its reliable and fun, but the proportions and huge slab of fender above the rear wheel don't work for me ... and I own 2 VWs and 2 Audis.
