001, here is some background. Hasslehoff is rallying in the Gumball 3000. He was supposed to race using KITT, but had to resort to his R8 when KITT had mechanical issuse.

I don't see a problem in doing that at all. Afterall, it's his car, he can do whatever he wants with it. It's no difference like lots of people having their cars with flag(s) sticker behind their vehicles' bumpers and rear windshields.

You do know that Audi owned Lamborghini since 1999, right?
They share many parts and engines with one-another (more so than with VW). For example, the steering wheel and navigation from the Gallardo can be found in the RS4. The V10 in the S6 is a de-tuned version of the V10 in the Gallardo.
