The big splash at this year's New York Auto Show was undoubtedly the relaunch of the SRT "Dodge" Viper. It was essentially the ONLY thing folks were talking about and swooning over.

We recently saw it appear on Jay Leno's Garage and from the sense of things, especially Leno's words, it is pretty evident that the next-gen Viper will be getting quite a bit of refinement over its previous generation model AND definitely over the first-gen product that started it all.

Leno would know as he has one of the original cars -- the first black Viper ever produced -- and a later model GTS.

But what's pretty cool is that now we're seeing the SRT Viper for the FIRST time with stripes while the only one we've seen to-date was the red prototype version that was trotted around at the New York show.

Now we're just a wee bit curious: If you were plunking down six figures for a Viper, how would YOU option it? With stripes or sans stripes?
