YOU Decide: What's A Better Choice? A Stripper BMW 5-Series OR A Loaded BMW 3-Series...

This is one of those questions that everyone making a car purchase typically goes through but for whatever reason never talks about it. Probably because it has to do with a little bit of pride and a bit of coin.

If there are two comparably priced models, WHICH do you go for? The stripped-out higher end model, like a BMW 5-Series, OR a loaded-up BMW 3-Series?

Let's face it, you've gotta pick between two cars that really differ in some nuanced features and in size. That's because their motors will be similar and their styling isn't profoundly different.

BUT, but... there's a catch.

Having a 5-Series over a 3'er does have a little more cachet; however, if you're sitting counting every dollar the MSRP goes up isn't that cachet sort of...eroded?
