Earlier this week AutoSpies.com reader AudiRevolution posed the question asking what car(s) do you currently drive.  It was obvious based on the number of contributions that a lot of you had fun not only answering the question, but making observations about cars others are fortunate enough to drive.

If money was no object, I am sure we would see a lot more cars listed, perhaps whole lists of automobiles by each and everyone of you, but sadly that is not the case.  But what if it was.  What if you walked into work Monday morning and where rewarded with a huge bonus, or massive increase in pay thereby allowing you the good fortune of being able to buy whatever car you want.

The fantasy is always fun to consider because when money is no object, the automobiles available get fun really fast.  In doing this we should have a ground rule or two to help keep us in line, so lets limit our choices to no more than four cars.  As much fun as it would be to assume we would buy every car we ever wanted, the reality is that even if you were insanely wealthy, there probably would be some restraint in terms of the cars you buy.  So knowing that price is no limit, and you can buy up to four cars, what would they be?

For me this is a tough question because like the rest of you I could make a list 50 or 60 cars long in a heartbeat and then be able to add on to that after the initial review.  In making my choices I took into consideration what my wife would drive, and the fact that our 2-year old son would need to have at least one car capable of transporting the required child seat.  With this in mind, here are my choices.

I would start with a Bentley Continental Flying Spur.  This car truly creates a presence whether it is pulling up to an intersection or to a valet, and outfitting it in black exterior with red leather interior would set this car apart from others on the road.  The fact it also has a 6.0 liter V-12 engine with 552 HP ensures rapid transit no matter where you are heading.

My next choice would be the Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano.  This ultimate Ferrari has the performance of an Enzo with the luxury and comfort of a grand tourer.  Also equipped with a 12-Cylinder engine, this Ferrari has people lining up to wait out their turn for the chance to own this masterpiece.  Of course if money was no object i could buy my way to the front of the line, or pay a ridiculous mark-up for the opportunity to own this Ferrari.

Of course as much fun as both of those 2 cars are, they aren't always practical for day-to-day driving, as such a Mercedes-Benz S63 would join the fleet along with a Porsche 911 Turbo.  The S63 is a great stealth car, only the true enthusiast would recognize the S63 from a standard issue S550 equipped with the AMG package, however that hand built 6.2 liter engine packs a punch when you step on the go pedal.

The 911 Turbo although not quite as stealth as the S63, does blend into the back ground a lot more than the Ferrari, plus the bonus of a back seat will allow my son to ride along as he gets a little older.

While I think my fantasy garage is pretty good, I am looking forward to seeing what some of you come up with.  I know there will be something listed that of course I missed, notice there is no Lamborghini on my list even though the new Gallardo ranks very high on my list of wants, and as much as I love BMW, they didn't make the list.

Hey, money is no object this weekend, have some fun, spend a little and lets see the list you come up with.
