At the end of January we told you that Volkswagen will be unveiling the Passat BlueMotion at Geneva and now we have official details and images of the car from Geneva. With a driving range of 839 miles on a full tank, no other vehicle of its size consumes less fuel. This means with an average annual distance driven of 15,000 kilometres, the driver only needs to refuel eleven times a year with an average of 68 Euro in fuel costs per month. Volkswagen had immediate success with their first BlueMotion model the Polo BlueMotion that debuted in the Summer of 2006, and the company hopes the same for the Passat BlueMotion.
