We’ve never been huge fans of the Volkswagen Phaeton. Everytime we right about it we have something mean to say, so today we will say nothing mean about the overpriced Volkswagen. Volkswagen unveiled the updated Phaeton at Geneva this past week adding a new V6 TDI with 223 horsepower. Excited about the new update and the new TDI variant, Volkswagen has decided to give the Phaeton a second chance at the US Market.
Andreas Meurer, Volkswagen spokesman, told Bloomberg News, that the company expects to reintroduce the Phaeton luxury sedan to the U.S. when the next version goes on sale. We’d be surprised if Volkswagen brought the V6 TDI Phaeton to the United States, but we expect only the higher-end gas variants to show up on our highways.
