Poll: XF Stud or Dud?
Poll answer first then your response to the essay please.
It seems ironic that over the past week I have experienced emotions from the high of highs reading comments about the new XF, to low of lows from reading them. It is very reminiscent of my experience around this same time in 2005-2006 when the XK came out.
As many of my posts have pointed out, Callums designs don't always translate we in 2D.
I think this has to do with the subtlety of his design even when the over all design is in your face or striking on some level. The XK, as simple as the curves seem and as straighforward as the design seems to be it continually delights at every new angle from which it's viewed.
I believe the XF is such a car.
Do you think the XF it will look much different in 3D as the XK did? What quality do you think make some cars look fantastic in pictures but not in real life? And why are Callums designs just the reverse?
