For those who don’t know, the standard Pontiac G8 GXP is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable to deliver 415 hp (309 kW) and 562 Nm of torque(415 lb.-ft.), but with the new 7.4-liter LSX454 crate engine from GM Performance Parts installed, the performances were boosted to an impressive 638 hp (476 kW) and 813 Nm of torque (600 lb.-ft).

In order to handle these numbers the engine was connected to a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission. Stopping the vehicle was also an important point and due to this a new disc brake package borrowed from the Cadillac CTS-V was installed featuring new red painted calipers and CNC-milled GXP logos. For better stability the car has been lowered and also received a new set of 20-inch aluminium wheels with a sinister black chrome finish.
