Seat is commemorating a series of remarkable European awards for its all-new Ibiza super mini after the panel of judges in both Germany and the Netherlands designated it top of its class. Earlier this week executives from the Barcelona-based car maker flew to Berlin to gather a prominent ‘Golden Steering Wheel’ awarded by leading German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, one of Europe’s largest-selling names.

Selections for the concluding five cars in each segment were done by readers of the Sunday newspaper prior to going on to be judged by an a panel of drivers and celebs including previous rally and race ace Walter Röhrl, and ex-F1 driver Hans-Joachim Stuck.
