In a press statement that lists the 2010 model lineup for General Motors, the Pontiac brand has only the Vibe mentioned even though Pontiac will be shelved at the end of next year.

It looks like the four-door hatch, which was produced in tandem with Toyota, is the last product under the Pontiac badge. But a GM spokesman has confirmed that this is not the case, but only a guarantee that the 2010 Vibe will hit the markets. The fact is other 2010 models have been getting off the assembly lines from GM’s facilities in Fremont, California for almost a month now, but the company has not yet fixed production schedules for the other models in the Pontiac range. However, the 2010 models should be coming out of production this summer to give the carmaker time to decide if the model is to be continued or not. There could still be a possibility of a 2010 G3, G5, or G8 contingent on the production schedule. Both the G3 and G5 are already on the order guide of GM, making both tough contenders for production.
