The tuning specialist Hennessey Performance has managed to finish the most essential stage in the development of the ZR1-powered HPE700 and that is to fit the LS9 of the Corvette ZR1 in the engine compartment of the latest Camaro. From available photos it can be observed that the supercharged 6.2 liter V8 unit fits snugly in the engine bay.

The cover of the engine, which can be seen through a polycarbonate window on the ZR1 matches the firewall of the Camaro. The Hennessey HPE700 will get the LS9, which usually comes with 638hp, to produce in excess of 700hp. A limited run of only 24 units will be produced and 11 of them have already been sold.
