Here is one reason why you shouldn’t put off purchases for the Christmas season. A limited run of the 2010 Jaguar XJ on Oct. 6 sold out in four hours and four minutes since it became available for ordering.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the 2010 Jaguar XJ was going to be featured in the Christmas Book, also known as the Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition. There were only 50 special edition units made, each with a price tag of $105,000. This isn’t the first time that Jaguar was featured in the Neiman Marcus Christmas book. It had been featured twice before – the XKE Grand Touring Coupe in 1968 and the Jaguar XK8 Convertible in 1997. Richard Beattie, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Jaguar North America, said that having your product appear on the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is a “spectacular way to launch the Jaguar XJ.”
