On Wheels Media’s award for the Urban Automobile of the Year goes to the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. On Wheels Media has been staging this award for 14 years now. Randi Payton, president and publisher of On Wheels Media, said that the award is given to cars that “resonate with the majority of new car buyers who live in urban and suburban areas.” The vehicles that are chosen are cost and fuel-efficient and possess performance and safety characteristics that are found to be relevant to consumers in metropolitan areas.
