The California-based tuning firm Stillen has launched a supercharger kit for the 2010 Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37. With this package, Nissan 3.7-liter V-6s is able to generate 515 hp. Stillen’s engineers made sure that the engine could handle the power.
The internals are actually already strong enough to take the extra boost, but there was a need for the cooling system to be boosted to maintain a normal operating temperature for the engine. Stillen achieved its goal with the use of an air-to-water intercooler integrated into the new high-flow cast aluminum intake manifold, along with additional oil and transmission coolers.
