Here is something we don’t frequently see — a production version of an Indianapolis 500 Camaro pace car. This will be the first time in 17 years that General Motors will build a replica of an Indy 500 Pace Car.
Jim Campbell, US vice president of Chevrolet marketing, said that the company had aimed to build a collectible vehicle that will be liked by the Camaro and Indianapolis 500 fans. This replica, which will be based on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, is equipped with RS appearance package and will only be available with the six-speed automatic transmission.
