If you have had your hopes up for another LFA variant, and you probably should have been reasonably expecting it given the company's drop-top concept, be prepared to be let down.
According to our friends at GTspirit, it is a "no go."
It would have been nice to see another 500 units running around in the near-term future.
Lexus has indicated to the press that there are no additional plans to release a LFA Roadster any time soon. The concept shown a few years ago will not go into production. Lexus will first focus on the development of the current coupé and the development of the Nürburgring Edition.
Although, the Japanese company doesn’t say no to the idea of bringing a roadster to the world around us...
