In order to expand its utility-vehicle lineup, it appears that Bmw is set to add an smaller X4, with a range-topping M version. The car is set to make its debut in 2014 and will carry the same design lines as the Bmw X6, but at a smaller scale.
The technical part will be borrowed from the 2011 Bmw X3. The design process will be inspired by the X6, which was inspired by the X5: the new X4 will receive the same front fascia as the X3, while the rear end will be completely new.
