Saab is looking to add a personal touch to its vehicles. No, you won't be allowed to go build your own 9-5 in Trollhattan a la the Corvette program.

Instead, the brand has decided to implement the use of cameras and will let customers watch their cars being built online or possibly even send the new owners pictures of important steps in the process of the build.

Although it is not going to start off as a live feed, Saab says it may be possible down the line, no pun intended...

Saab buyers will be able to watch their cars being built online – and then collect them from the company's Trollhattan factory in Sweden.

Saab wants to put more focus on the customer experience now it is no longer owned by General Motors (GM), and plans to start installing cameras on the production line from next year...
