Could the Agents be stumbling upon another new trend?

It seems that gearheads don't just like cars, they like all-things-military too. Within the past year, the Agents have seen a camouflaged Ferrari 458 Italia, a 458 with a fighter jet paint scheme and who can forget the Lamborghini Reventon, which is essentially an LP640 with a jet-themed body kit and some interior modifications.

But I think this one takes the cake for its sheer ridiculousness and ineffective attempt. A Japanese tuner by the name of Studie AG has taken a BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo and turned it into a safari-inspired project. Why? I don't even know.

How about this: caption our cover photo with the name you feel is most appropriate.

Although I doubt you'll be hunting in the Congo anytime soon, is this 5GT the ultimate urban assault vehicle?


Japanese tuner Studie AG reveals their latest project: “F07 Safari”. Based on the BMW 5 Series GT, the “F07 Safari” sports an interesting paint, matte green, specific to a vehicle seen in safari expeditions.

Studie AG unveiled the car at the 2010 BMW Familie event and along with the unique paint, an aftermarket treatment has been applied as well. They installed a front half bumper cover from AC Schnitzer, slightly modified to add a pair of LED driving lights to keep it unique...
