It seems that a lot of manufacturers and tuners are starting to emphasize their love for contrasting trim bits. Usually they're not that noticeable unless someone wants to make it that way. Most of the time it's meant to provide a subtle effect.

Aston Martin is one of the newer manufacturers offering this paint option alongside the likes of Ferrari. However, unlike Ferrari, the whole roof doesn't get the treatment. Only what can be best described as the "side bars," or the "roof trusses," get the contrast if you so desire.

If you take a closer look, Aston also decided to contrast the side grill, hood vents, what appears to be the front lip and also apply lipstick around the mouth of the car.

With all of that said, does this get your approval or is this not to your liking?

I will say that I think this contrast option would look better with the colors inverted, think of a Dark Blue paint job with Silver trim bits.
