By the fourth quarter of 2011, the Chevrolet Volt will already be available in all 50 states. General Motors Co. is accelerating plans to launch the plug-in hybrid, according to a statement by Rick Scheidt, Chevy vice president of U.S. marketing. The initial plan had been for Chevy to have deliveries only in select markets this year, including California, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Texas and Michigan. Deliveries have started last December.
