One of the things I have noticed as a seasoned road warrior is that drivers are getting worse with time. That's because there seems to be an inverse relationship between humans and technology. Essentially, the more tech that comes about in our lives, it appears that we're becoming increasingly stupider or at least worse drivers.

And the facts are backing me up on this one. Although fatal accidents are at the lowest levels in years, there has been a noted rise in accidents involving tech. Of the fatal crashes related to distraction, just over 18 percent involved reports of a cell phone contributing to the incident.

I wonder how many distracted cases dealt with drivers playing with their infotainment systems...

Anyway, I figured it would be a good idea to give a basic primer with some essential tips on driver's etiquette. Although it may be considered fruitless, hopefully SOMEONE learns something new today.
