An interesting little paradigm shift has begun to happen in the automotive kingdom and it is becoming readily apparent. The German sedans that we all use to know and love have started getting a little soft around the edges. Although it was reported by several outlets in the past couple of years, it seems that most buyers are starting to notice the change. But here's the weirder thing:

Manufacturer's known for providing cushy rides are starting to up the sport. So, that means we've got a budding, inverse relationship.

In fact, in one recent comparison test the new BMW 5-Series was considered softer than the new Infiniti M56, which was thought to be too harsh. And, some previous BMW 5'er owners have noted on plenty of forum threads that the car has lost what use to make it unique. Essentially, former owners are noting the car's suspension is softer and steering feel isn't what it used to be.

But BMW isn't the only manufacturer.

With that said, we want to know:

Is it true and do YOU really care if the Germans are making their cars a little more luxurious? OR, do you just want a sportier Lexus?
