So, we do know a couple things about General Motors. They made a helluva car with the 2011 Chevrolet Volt and the current generation Chevrolet Malibu was really good looking car when it first came out. Problem is that it hasn't aged too well, especially now that so many are fleet vehicles.
Oh yeah and when it wants to, Chevrolet can design a helluva car. Even if you're a car snob, you have to admit that when Chevrolet dropped the curtain on the 2010 Camaro, there was a part of you that was excited. Even if it was for a millisecond.
Well, considering the success of the Camaro, whose 2010 sales beat out the Mustang for the first time in years, Chevrolet decided to take some of that and rub it off on the next-generation Malibu. Literally. Although the whole vehicle hasn't been revealed, the video and pictures down below give you a pretty damn good impression of what Chevrolet will be unveiling at the Shanghai and New York Auto Shows coming in a couple of weeks.
But is a Camaro-inspired Malibu what you were looking for?
I had a chance to get a look at the early prototype of this car and I remember it quite clearly. I just hope they revamped the interior because where they were going with it in August 2009 was not a good place.
