It wasn't too long ago that we heard MINI would be teaming up with Rolls-Royce to come together and build the MINI Goodwood.
Long story short, the Goodwood will be built from the same materials as the Rolls-Royce Phantom. So, you have to expect a substantial increase in the Cooper's price, right? You'd be correct.
Although there hasn't been any indication of how much more substantial the price will be, AutoExpress suggests it will be double the price. This has been calculated with good reason as the interior essentially is completely overhauled and the car has every option for the Cooper standard.
Look for the Goodwood to bow at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show.
MINI is on a roll! Deluxe manufacturer Rolls-Royce, also owned by BMW, has been drafted in to help create the most luxurious version of the baby ever.
The limited edition – called the MINI Inspired by Goodwood, after Rolls’ headquarters in West Sussex – will be unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show towards the end of April.
