While just about everyone's eyes are glued to the race action for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it seems that EVO Magazine was thinking like a spy.

Instead of focusing all of their attention at the task at hand -- the endurance race -- EVO's photographer was busy snapping pictures of what was in the parking lot. The funny thing is I found myself doing the same thing when I went up to the 2011 Greenwich Concours.

The cars were that interesting!

It’s the 2011 Le Mans 24-hour race this weekend. And while much anticipation is for the race, there’s at least much excitement (probably more) in the journey and road trip, as performance cars and their owners make the pilgrimage to motorsport’s headline fixture.

Camp sites with McLaren F1s and Ferrari F40s beside some shabby tents are certainly a bit of a spectacle, while the circuit car park on race morning is also a pretty cool sight. Below is a snapshot of some of the performance metal parked up in the Green car park (i.e. the closed Bugatti Circuit!) this weekend...
