Although the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans just ended, it seems that people are gearing up for next year's event right away!
According to Autocar, the ACO has invited GreenGT to next year's event. Why is this important? That's because the team is planning to race a vehicle that has hydrogen fuel cells, which produce electricity that powers an electric motor.
This method is good for 402 horsepower and is said to be a fully carbon neutral way of competing.
Could this be the start of a revolution? Who knows, we'll have to way nearly a year and 24 hours to figure out...
