The 2007 MBZ S600 with Distronic Plus uses 24.125 Ghz for the pre-collision avoidance system. This frequency (24.125 Ghz) is very close to the same frequency that is used for Police K-Band Radar at 24.150 Ghz. This means that any radar detector which uses the K-Band will go off non-stop. Pre-2007 models used a higher frequency. So now you spend $180,000 on a car with a twin turbo V-12 and can't use a radar detector!
