I guess there's crime everywhere these days. Not even on Beverly Hills' famed Rodeo Drive can you get away from pointless activity. Before we get into the meat and potatos of this story, let me provide you with some context.

Bijan was a world-famous clothier that unfortunately passed away this past April from a fatal stroke. But he wasn't just known for his designs, he also was a car geek like the rest of us. Prior to his death he ordered another Bugatti that was a bit more special than his other(s).

Although I wouldn't have expected one of his trademark cars to be parked at his store in the same spot he occupied everyday, it apparently was -- even after death? Impressive. This is where the news happens: apparently someone broke the window of the vehicle this week.

Was there something to steal? A fit of jealousy in our tough economic times? Random act of violence? Who knows...

Unfortunately, we have to report that
Bijan’s Bugatti Veyron was vandalized just in front of his store on Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills, USA. It looks like somebody tried to steal something from the hypercar. The Veyron had a broken passenger side window and was cleaned by person working for his company.

You wonder why anybody would do such a thing to a 1.5 million Euro supercar...
