SPIED: 2012 Porsche 991 Gets Seen In SILVER & Its Spotted Top DOWN -- How Much Longer Until The Full Monty?

Yes, I am curious: When is Porsche going to give us "The full monty," and just reveal the damn thing already?

The marque's gotten quite brave by showing us every little piece of the vehicle, with exception of the redesigned headlights, taillights and interior. So, in the age of the internet, what are we waiting for?

Until then we'll just keep bombarding you with the latest spy shots, like these, which depict the 991 as close to shedding its camo as possible.

These new images show us what the very popular silver color would look like on your Carrera and also show the Carrera and Turbo convertibles undergoing testing with both of their tops down. With the convertibles, it appears that the rear bonnets have undergone some reworking to accommodate the soft tops.

Aside from that, it appears that the undercarriage, which is visible in some shots, looks a bit different from the 997.

In addition, note the silver coupe has some cleaner and stronger lines incorporated into its design. Take, for example, the rear shot of the silver coupe and observe the strong, clean lines running from the roofline and down into the rear spoiler -- well done, Porsche.
