This past weekend in the UK one of the automobile industry's top events was held. The Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Of course the premier element of the event is the hillclimb where you'll find just about any vehicle with sporting credentials barreling up that hill "giving it a go."

In recent years the event's been receiving much more attention and manufacturers are beginning to make their presence known with the launch of concepts and special editions.

That said, if you want to get as close to the action as possible, you should come along for a ride with these several videos taken from this year's event.

The new Aston Martin Vanquish 310, only recently shown for the first time made an appearance at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Although it was not officially on display in the supercar paddock, the new supercar was whisked in and out for quick runs up the hillclimb where you can see it in action.

The new Vanquish re-uses the name of the DBS's predecessor but ups the game to 565hp and adds a whole new interior look to go with the re-design.
