Off the top of my dome piece, if I could think of the cars in Lexus' lineup that needed the most improvement, it would probably have to be the ES, IS and LS.
Considering the ES and LS have received their respective updates, which feature exterior and interior modifications, that only really leaves one product for Toyota Motor Sales to get to work on. The IS.
And for the very first time, we're seeing spy images of what is said to be the 2014 Lexus IS. Given that the IS is under quite a bit of heavy camouflage, it's pretty evident that developmental testing is not too far along.
Prototypes for the completely redesigned 2014 Lexus IS have been spotted in the U.S., and though they are heavily camouflaged a few key details about the upcoming sedan can be ascertained. We can clearly see elements of the car’s new spindle grille, which looks to be the most aggressive iteration of the corporate Lexus grille we’ve seen thus far.
