Scion and Toyota’s in-house performance division, Toyota Racing Development (TRD), are looking into adding a supercharger to the list of upgrade parts available to the FR-S, we’ve learned. Scion’s booth at SEMA this year is packed with several unique takes on the FR-S—included this trio of awesome FR-S customs—and many of the tricked-out sports coupes are equipped with aftermarket superchargers; plus, with “just” 200 hp, the FR-S is ripe for a power boost. Apparently, TRD agrees, and is looking to do something about it.
