I feel like I am on a road trip with a bunch of toddlers: "Are we there yet, are we there yet?" Though I believe it's safe to say we're nearly there with the next-gen BMW M3 and M4 — expect a Frankfurt or Paris concept unveil — it is still wrapped up quite a bit.
There have been some interesting bits appearing for the first time though. In the latest series of images, this is the first time I've taken notice of what appear to be optional, lightweight wheels.
In addition, scope out the newly camouflaged roof, which has appeared just recently on test vehicles in the U.S. and now abroad. A little carbon fiber, anyone?
Lastly check out the size of the brakes and the M3's stance. Everything is looking pretty tidy. After seeing the new footage of the M4 working its way around the Nurburgring, one thing I have to point out is that the test car was sporting what I believe were the optional carbon ceramic big brake kit. It was equipped with the gold calipers that have now become the signature of the track-focused brakes.
