Infiniti seems ready to move on with production plans for the Q50 Eau Rouge dynamic sedan, according to a company source with knowledge of the plans.

The Eau Rouge concept was an astonishing delight, featuring under its hood a GT-R beating heart – a 3.8 liter V6 petrol twin turbocharged unit that churns out 542 HP (404 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 628 Nm (463 lb-ft) of torque.

“At this stage it would take more to stop the car getting made than to start things,” found out Auto Express. “There is a real buzz about it.”

As Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel is deeply involved in the development of the car, Infiniti recently showcased a video of the F1 champ driving the car at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire.
