xDrive all-wheel drive will be available on the 335xi Coupe
As previously announced, xDrive all-wheel drive will be available on the 335xi Coupe. We believe that the availability of xDrive will significantly increase the appeal of the 335i Coupe to customers who want all-weather
capability......

I say definitely the S5...have you heard about the 335 fuel pump problems? The car just dies. It's been out for like a year and BMW still can't fix that problem. Plus the design of the Audi just blows the BMW away. The interior in the Audi is also much nicer. Plus, the S5 can do 0-60 in 4.5-4.9 seconds...

yea common, and that chip also voids your warranty, anything goes wrong on the engine, good luck and have fun paying for it buy your self.

S5 for exclusivity, sexy style, luxury and power. BMW for saving about $2K, having more tune-ability and a decidedly different driving experience. It is known (obviously) that RWD BMWs have better handling than AWD Audis... but it is thought that Audi still makes better AWD cars. I would just drive both and see which you like better.

335 is best all around. the S5 will be about equally as fast, but audis just don't handle nearly as well as the 3-series.

How many times do I have to repeat this? AWD AUDIS HANDLE BETTER THAN AWD BMWs. Check any comparison between the two!

PERFECT!!!! I thought heavily about a 335 coupe but decided against it because of the Colorado weather. This may make me rethink my strategy.

Who says the 335xi will drive better? The RWD model does, but Audi still has the lead in terms of AWD driving enjoyment.

S4 ... did you know that BMW sells more of their AWD cars in the US, than Audi? just stating the obvious. Also, I have not seen any true comparisons stating that the AWD Audi will out handle the BMW

In Sweden Auto Motor & Sport tested the Audi A5 3.0 TDI aginst the BMW 330xd and they thought that the S5 was more FUN to drive. It also won the whole test.
That and the fact that the Audi A5/S5 is soooo much cooler looking IRL makes the choice pretty easy. BUT, the new 335xi has better fuel economy so that might make the decision harder in the end.
I've personally driven the Audi A5 TDI, but not the 3-series Coupé so I can't give any final judgment on which of them is the most fun to drive.

Thank you for proving my point- AWD Audis ARE more fun than AWD BMWs. BMW just hasn't perfected the concept like the guys who made quattro.

And Audi hasn't mastered awd handling like Subaru some would say.

Why just test drive both cars to see which one you like the most.
Personally i like the 335 better, i just dont like the A5, there is something wrong with its lines, it is not a design that says wow. try to look at it from the side. Inside i like both cars, althoug that i think Audi is a bit boring in newer models i think the same about the BMW. They lost the touch after the e46.

Why is the 335xi coupe faster than the 335i coupe? I know the AWD adds traction for better launches but the 328xi coupe is much slower than the 328i coupe?
Is this some sort of lighter xDrive from BMW that allows for improved rather than worse acceleration?

Definitely the BMW. The S5 is just not as smooth looking. They're both gonna have their pros and cons. Life's short, why not buy one of each?

D-uh!. BMW all the way.. much better handling, way better styling and engineering light years ahead of the VW. on top of it the s5 is more expnesive by 10-15K. I bet you they wil sell less than 10% of what a 335xi will. hey.. but what are you going ot do with the leftover Jetta's?

BMW's X-drive is a much more advanced and quicker acting AWD system than Audi's torsen based AWD system. Let me know if you have any further questions.
